Shiloh (RKG) - King Silas's latest effort to achieve a self-sustained Gilboa looks to wind as an energy source. The King's plan aims at ten percent of our electricity coming from renewable sources in the next three years, and twenty-five percent in the next six.
"The King's initiative will not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but promises to create many thousands of new 'green jobs' and provide some relief to Gilboan families facing pain at the pump," said Minister of Energy Raines.
His investment of 150 billion Laurels over the next ten years shows the King's dedication to his vision of a greener Gilboa. One of the first steps in this initiative is the completion of Pella Dam, which halted production three months ago due to issues related to zoning permits. Pella Dam was first conceived as a fresh water supply to Shiloh – a source that would end the city's reliance on the rerouting of River Prosperity.
In addition to developing and deploying clean coal technology and long-term talks of a natural gas pipeline, Silas's Energy Initiative puts its focus in wind farms. The King's initiative cites wind energy as one of the cleanest avenues for producing electric power with the least amount of toxins released.
While some citizens point to Silas's Energy Renewal Initiative as his way of distracting the country from the missing Charter, most Gilboans welcome the long-awaited plan. King Silas spoke to that earlier this week when he told the people to think creatively, that "... this is the day you've been waiting for. Today we begin a new adventure."
